Cocktail Collaboration with our Friends at Pekut & Carwick Independent Bottlers

The weather is warming, the year is picking up speed, and there’s no better time to keep it simple and summery than by shaking up a new, refreshing cocktail collaboration with our friends at Pekut & Carwick Independent Bottlers.

The Seville Slip is a fizzy orange showstopper, redolent with bitter-sour notes from Pekut & Carwick’s Vin d’Orange (made from no-spray Seville oranges), the balanced elderflower and basil flavors of our Gin Recipe 01, and a touch of marmalade to round it out. You can make this cocktail by the glass, or batch it out in a punch bowl to serve a crowd.

Seville Slip

Serves 1

Ingredients

1 oz Common Ground Spirits Gin Recipe 01

1 oz Pekut & Carwick Vin d’Orange

1 tsp marmalade

1 dash Angostura bitters

sparkling water

Orange peel for garnish

Instructions

1. Fill a large cocktail shaker with ice, followed by the gin, vin d’orange, marmalade, and bitters. 
2. Shake well, strain into a champagne glass, and top with sparkling water.
3. Express an orange peel over the top of the drink (twist or squeeze the peel so that the orange oil sprays onto the surface of the drink), twist the peel into a garnish, serve and enjoy!
