Common Ground Spirits June Blog 2023

Happy Pride, Friends!

June is pride month, and we want to wish our friends in the LGBTQIA community and all the allies out there a joyful and fun-filled month of festivities!

We’ve rustled up a fabulous brunch cocktail for your next gathering, a gin bloody mary with a touch of pickle brine and chili crisp to wake up your palate, and a splash of club soda from our friends at Q Mixers for a gentle, summery fizz. The chili crisp accentuates the mary mix with underpinnings of savory soy, garlic, and piquant chili oil, while straining the mixture before adding club soda creates a lighter, more delicate concoction than your typical mary.

Feel free to whip up your marys from scratch by subbing tomato juice for the bloody mary mix, or make your life easy by purchasing a good bloody mary mix—you’ll have a killer cocktail either way! If you go the tomato juice route, you’ll want to punch it up by adding horseradish, black pepper, and a little salt to the blender.

Cheers!
